2021 MELAW ANNUAL EVENT
Despite all odds, MELAW successfully held a wonderful, virtual annual event on June 17, 2021.
President Theo Angelis kicked off our event with a special welcome and thanked attendees who may be zoom-lagged after 18 months. The event was well-attended and thanks to everyone's support, MELAW donated 25% of event proceeds to TURKCHA!

Zahra Billoo, executive director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, San Francisco-Bay area office, engaged the audience as she detailed efforts over the past few years around the Muslim Ban and how we as a community can continue to support historically excluded communities.
Attendees enjoyed a tasty Middle-Eastern meal catered and delivered straight to attendee's door by Arista Catering
