2022 Kate Seabright Scholarship KABA is pleased and honored to announce it will be continuing the Kate Seabright Scholarship for a fourth consecutive year. This scholarship will provide $3,000-$8,000 to one or two law students attending law school in Washington State who demonstrate commitment to advocating for mental health awareness, promoting volunteerism, and increasing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. This scholarship will be awarded in the memory and honor of Kate Seabright. Funding for the scholarship is made possible through donations from Kate’s parents, Mike Seabright and Margaret Ahn Seabright, and her law firm, Fox Rothschild LLP. Kate was a leader in the legal profession and in her law firm, dedicated to serving the Asian American legal community, and unwavering in her support of marginalized communities. Above all, Kate was an incredibly compassionate young woman, whose kindness and integrity will always be remembered.
