The Position Qualifications JD from an ABA accredited law school. Admitted to practice in Washington State, or a state that has reciprocity with Washington State (other states admissions also considered). 3-5 years of personal injury, general liability (bodily injury and property damage), construction, or commercial litigation experience. Strong technical skills and demonstrated technical proficiency in legal practice, or: a professional background in tech; information technology; records and information management; or relevant education or certifications. Demonstrated ability and experience with collecting and managing electronically stored information (ESI) for litigation and investigations, experience with E-Discovery and using E-Discovery platforms, and experience working with discovery vendors. Experience with client counseling on best practices and procedures related to discovery compliance, custodial investigations, ESI search and review in litigation, and related matters a plus Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration in a fast paced dynamic practice setting. Ability to manage teams, and experience managing legal professionals on discovery projects. Project management experience, or prior experience as a member of a project team a plus, but not required. Effective and efficient problem solving capabilities, with the ability to work independently to proactively and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs. Responsibilities Assess the discovery needs of assigned litigation matters, identify potential issues, and devise discovery strategies that leverages the skills of a paralegal team. Provide guidance to litigation teams, paralegals, and other office personnel, depending on the needs of cases and/or assignments Assist in responding to discovery requests and drafting ESI protocols, protective orders and review protocols Utilize technology with efficient and repeatable workflows and process to provide excellent client services efficiently. Coordinate document and data collection with client representatives, and provide client counseling on discovery process. Oversee data collection and ensure sound transfer of data. Assist litigation teams at all stages of discovery in a matter including, but not limited to: data and evidence preservation; data collection; handling proprietary data and addressing data privacy issues; document reviews; production assembly; document preparation for depositions and interviews; Prepare supporting materials and outlines for discovery conferences, participating when needed; and other post-production document use. Assist in developing plans and procedures for data document collection, review and production, including process memoranda and other related knowledge management tasks. Why Should You Apply?
